Good afternoon,
Tips for a
routine.......
Do you have a routine or are you the type of person who doesn’t like to plan? I need a routine as I struggle if I don’t have one. My routine includes my office job, fitness business, running a home and the boys.
Some questions I have are:-
Do you have a routine?
If you work are you still working from home, in the office, or
hybrid?
Do you need to set your alarm clock to wake you up in the morning?
Do you have structure?
Do you
plan?
Are you organised?
Are you doing anything different since the pandemic started?
Have you changed since the
pandemic?
How are you sleeping?
How is your diet?
Do you exercise?
Do you have ME time?
For me, it is very important to have a routine as I need structure and I like to plan as much as I can for the day/week so I know what I need to do. I LOVE a list, in fact I have two, work and personal, particularly as I seem to
be forgetting things. I think that is my AGE and the menopause. 😊
I have also found a routine can help in times of stress, uncertainty, and
unpredictability and more so now. It gives me a sense of control, helps me to focus, keeps me organised and motivated. I love the feeling at the end of the day that I have achieved something, doesn't have to be anything big, just that tick on my list when I have completed a task makes me feel better.😊 Although sometimes a task might not be on my list that I have completed and I do have that urge to add it to my list so I can cross it out. ……Yes I am daft. 😊
Having a routine is about more than just your day to day
activities and your work. Don't forget to make TIME for yourself. My ME time is walking and reading.
Let me know if any of this helps in any way 😁
As usual would love your thoughts. 😀
Have a good weekend.
