Good morning,
I hope you had a lovely weekend, feeling okay and ready for a good week.
Brenda's funeral will take place today at 1.45 pm at the Rowan Chapel, Stockport Cemetery. Thank you to those who donated to cancer research we have a total of £56 which is amazing.
WOW 3 years ago this Thursday I taught my first class online due to Covid. I have to be totally honest this was completely new to me and totally out of my comfort zone. Over the years I had thought about it but always came
up with an excuse not to do it. I have taught face-to-face classes since 2003 and I felt my world had come crashing down. This was my business that I had built up and what about my members who have been with me for years what would they do. I knew I wanted to help as many people as possible as none of us knew what was going to happen, so I took the plunge and added online to my business.
For me personally I needed to continue exercising as exercise makes me feel good,
and it certainly helps with stress and anxiety. It is also great for brain health, as well as strengthening the bones and muscles. My clients also enjoyed a routine and said they had something to look forward to. When it got warmer I taught outdoor classes in my garden, again something I would not have done before Covid.
When we were able to return to face-to-face classes I kept online classes on my timetable. I found some people preferred to
work out online for convenience due to family or work commitments, they could do it in the privacy of their own home and they had a variety of classes to choose from. Others mentioned when they weren’t able to attend a face-to-face class, they could catch up on line as the classes are recorded so it is a win win for everybody.
Thank you to all my clients who attend my classes. Without you I would not be doing what I love. Not many people can say they
love going to work. 😀 😀
