Hello August,
We are at the start of
another new month so what does that mean to you. Will you be setting any goals or challenges for the month?
Below are some ideas. Why not try at least one of them?
1. Start to meal plan....planning is so important...make a plan each week and try to stick to it....this helps with food wastage as well.
2. Are you drinking enough water....treat yourself to a new water bottle and aim for 2 litres
a day.
3. Aiming for 2/3 meals a day is a great idea......reducing snacking where you can.
4. Try some new
exercise....try a new class...walking.....anything that gets you moving.
5. Get to bed at a decent time.
6.
Journaling - take 5 minutes in the evening and first thing in the morning and journal. Download whatever is on your mind and write it all out. No one will see this only you and it helps clear your mind before bed and gives you clarity and focus in the morning.
7. Time Management. Your time
is golden. Get clear with your goals, your aims, your to do list and go after it. Take little steps every day. Consistency = results.
Monday 18th August - As mentioned below the
6 pm Dance Class has been cancelled therefore the 6.55 pm Yoga class will be at 6 pm instead.
Monday 29th September - Thursday 2nd October - I will be on holiday
therefore my classes will be cancelled. Yoga will go ahead as normal.
Monday 1st - 4th September 2025 - I have been informed that I need to attend a Tribunal with work on the above dates as I am a witness. At the moment I do not know if I need to be there all week and will not know until the date of the hearing. Jolie will cover
Wednesday Pilates and Karen will cover Thursdays classes. I may have to cancel the Dance class unless I find cover. If I manage to get home in time then I will teach classes on the Monday and Wednesday evening. If I can't, there will be no live classes online but I will put recorded ones in their place. Sorry for any inconvenience caused I don't particular want to attend but it is law. I will keep you informed once I have more information.
Tuesday 12th August, returning Wednesday 27th August - I am going into hospital for surgery and will be off work for 2 weeks. I have organised cover for my community classes. With it being August I would appreciate knowing numbers in advance who will be attending because if people are away it might not be worth getting an instructor. If you are a member please book the August classes as soon as
possible and if you are pay as you go can you let me know if you will be attending on the dates below.
Wednesday 13th and 20th August, Pilates, Jolie covering.
Thursday 14th and 21st August, Over 50's Keep Fit and Over 50's Pilates. Karen who runs
the fitness weekends with me will be covering.
Yoga class will be on at 6 pm on Monday 18th August but none on the 26th with it being a bank holiday.
Monday 18th August, Dance - no class.
Monday 26th August, Dance - bank holiday.
Unfortunately, with me having cover instructors there will be no live classes in the Facebook group, (Pilates, Over 50's Keep Fit, Over 50' Pilates & HIIT) however I have added recorded sessions on the dates of the above live classes whilst I am off
so you will have a workout.
