Good morning,Ā
Ā
Tip of the day.....šøTips for improving balance and flexibility at any
age
Ā
Balance and flexibility are so important for feeling confident and steady in everyday life - whether youāre reaching for something on a high shelf, walking the dog, or simply getting up from your chair. The good news? With a few simple habits, you can keep improving these skills no matter your age or fitness level!
Ā
- Start with small, daily movements. Gentle stretches in the morning or before bed help keep your muscles supple. Try standing on one leg while brushing your teeth, or add a few simple ankle circles and shoulder rolls throughout your day.
- Join a class designed for balance and flexibility. Ali's Yoga and my Pilates sessions are perfect for building strength, stability, and range of motionāall in a friendly, supportive environment. We always offer options for all
abilities, so you can work at your own pace.
- Practice mindful movement. Focus on slow, controlled motions. This not only helps your body but also calms your mind and supports coordination.
- Stay consistent. Little and often is the key! Even 10 minutes a day can make a real difference over time.
Ā
Many of you have told me how much better you feel after just a few weeks of regular movementāimproved balance, less stiffness, and more confidence in your body. If youād like personalised advice or want to try a new class, just let me know. Iām always happy to help you find the best fit for your goals.
