Life can get busy and sometimes overwhelming, so it's more important
than ever to look after our minds as well as our bodies. This week, I want to share a few simple, practical habits you can weave into your day to help support your mental and physical well-being. These are little things that really do add upâand you donât have to do them all at once! Pick one or two and see how you feel.
Daily habits for a happier mind & body
- Move your body â Whether
itâs a short walk, gentle stretch, or one of our classes, movement helps release those feel-good hormones and lifts your mood.
- Connect with others â A quick chat, a smile, or joining a group activity can make a real difference. Our
classes are not just about exerciseâtheyâre about community and support.
- Take mindful moments â Try a few deep breaths, listen to calming music, or simply pause for a cup of herbal tea. These moments help reset your mind.
- Prioritise rest â Give yourself permission to rest without guilt. Good sleep and short breaks during the day are essential for both body and
mind.
- Get outside â Sunlight and fresh air can boost your mood and energy. Even a few minutes in the garden or by an open window can help.
