Good morning,
Tip of the day.....Healthy Meal Planning
Do you ever stand in front of the fridge, recipe book in hand, and still have no idea what to put together for a healthy meal? You're not alone -especially after a busy start to the year when routines and motivation can feel a little up and down.
This week, I want to share some
genuine, simple ways you can make healthy eating feel less overwhelming, using recipes from our Kick Start Lifestyle books. Whether you're new to meal planning or just need a reset, starting with a plan means less stress and better choices, even after a long day.
Why plan your meals?
- Less last-minute thinking (and fewer takeaways!)
- You know exactly what's going into your body
- Variety without fuss—no more repetitive meals
- Helps keep you on track with your goals, especially if you are focusing on healthy fat
loss
How to meal plan with Kick Start Lifestyle recipes:
- Pick your focus: Are you aiming for more energy, fat loss, or simply to eat less processed food? The recipes are divided by goal, so you can easily find what supports your
journey.
- Set aside a time: Just 10-15 minutes at the end of the week to flick through your book and jot down next week's meals makes all the difference.
- Batch cook when possible: The slow cooker and family favourites chapters are perfect for making larger portions to freeze for busy
days.
- Balance is key: Include something from every chapter throughout the week—think a juice for breakfast, spiralized veggies for lunch, and a new family recipe for dinner. Clean treats can curb sweet cravings without sabotaging your progress!
