Good morning,
Tip of the day.....Simple yoga poses for everyday flexibility
As we settle into the new year, many of us are looking for ways
to ease tension, feel more mobile, and quieten the mind. This week, I wanted to share a few simple yoga poses you can try at home to help boost your flexibility and support your mental well-being—perfect for those days when you need a gentle reset.
- Cat-Cow Stretch – Gently warms up the spine and relieves back tension. Move slowly between arching and rounding your back, matching movement to breath.
- Child’s Pose
– A restful posture that helps release the lower back and calm the mind. Breathe deeply and allow your body to relax into the stretch.
- Seated Forward Fold – Stretches the back of the legs and encourages a sense of letting go. Don’t worry about how far you reach—just focus on the gentle stretch and your breath.
- Supine Twist – Great for releasing tension in the spine and supporting digestion. Let your knees fall gently to each side, keeping
shoulders relaxed.
Even a few minutes of these poses can make a real difference if you’re feeling stiff or stressed. Remember, it’s not about being perfect—just moving and breathing with intention.
