Good morning,
Have you ever made it to mid-afternoon and realised your water bottle hasn't moved an inch? It happens to the best of us! With the busyness of daily life and the chill in the air, sometimes
water just slips down the priority list. But a little creativity can make all the difference—and drinking enough water is so important for your energy, skin, and wellbeing.
We all know those usual tips (carry a bottle, add lemon, set reminders), but what if you want to make hydration a bit more fun and less of a chore?
Creative ways to drink more water each day:
- Try infused water "mocktails": Toss frozen berries, mint, or orange slices into your water jug. It feels a bit more special and you might find yourself reaching for it more often.
- Make it a ritual: Link your water habit to another—like always having a glass with your morning coffee, after a walk, or each time you sit at your desk. Stack it onto something you already do!
- Track it visually: Use a clear water bottle and mark times or levels to hit by certain points in the day—a simple visual
check can be a great motivator.
- Set a "water trigger": For every cup of tea or coffee, have a glass of water too. It balances your overall fluids and becomes an easy habit.
- Eat your water: Enjoy more soups, watermelon, cucumber, or homemade smoothies. Foods with high water content help keep
you topped up.
- Personalise your bottle: Decorate or buy a bottle you genuinely like. You're more likely to carry and use it if it feels like "yours".
I always start my day with a glass of water before breakfast, I simply feel better.
Remember, every small step makes a difference - especially when it comes to hydration.
