HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL

Hi there,

I hope you have had a fabulous Xmas and getting prepared for this evening of festivities whatever you are doing.  I have spoken to many people and it's great to hear what you are all doing. Family parties at home, restaurants, pubs, staying in and just chilling, some are even going to bed early. Whatever you are doing have fun and stay safe.

Today I have been looking at my business and taking time to reflect back at 2016. The last six months I have had a number of health issues but a few weeks ago I had a scan at Christies and the good news is that the symptoms are damage caused by radiotherapy and can be treated. It does start to make you think about your health and what is happening to your body that you can't see.

I have achieved many of my goals for 2016 for Keep Fit with Paula and KSFL. Some are offering more fitness courses, taking on instructors  (who are fab) running a fitness weekend, new KSFL website, running 12 week KSFL Transformation Programmes  and helping people achieve their  weight loss goals.

I am writing my goals for 2017 and want to add more classes to my Fitness Timetable in Hazel Grove/surrounding areas and add classes that are not already on the timetable. This will include a class called BrainFit. This is a movement and meditation programme and I am the only instructor in the area who will be teaching this. It is a 45 minute Meditation and Movement Workout.  30 Minutes of mindful movement and breathing followed by a 15 minute guided meditation section. We are recognising that super hard core intense workouts are not the only way to go to relieve stress, lower cortisol and feel happy. Adopting a mindful approach to Group Exercise coupled with a guided meditation is so refreshing, revitalising and invigorating.
 
I have been part of Kick Start Fat Loss for 4 years now and it has changed considerably since I started. In 2017 as well as weight loss I will be focusing more on health and wellness. The 12 week Transformation Programme touches on mindset, motivation, gut health, stress, hormones, sleep. These are what we call the big rocks and all these need to be implemented to help reach your goals. My goals for KSFL are monthly online programmes for those who cannot make it to my class and 1:1 coaching.

Remember your Health is your Wealth. If you are feeling frustrated and unhappy with your body and your fitness levels. Make a decision, decide to do something about it, be prepared to make some lifestyle changes, educate yourself with the PROPER nutrition and fatloss information. Try and get out of the "I'll just cut down" and continue to eat just as you did before but a little less. It doesnt work. Counting calories and points will not work, you have to detoxify the body first then balance your hormones. Cutting out bad carbs is a GOOD thing, eat good carbs like veggies, meat, fish and you will get all the nutrients your body needs. Keep the nutrition simple and you will be amazed at the results. Stop listening to marketing hype and hand me down old fashioned information. All it will do is keep you locked down into a vicious cycle. So come on now, take yourself in hand, think about this logically, if you keep doing what you have always done, you'll keep getting the same results. Stop believing the marketing hype, the adverts on TV, the powerful marketing and listen to Fitness, Fatloss and Nutrition Experts not food companies, magazines, celebrities and the media

Anyone can give you a diet sheet and tell you to exercise every day but are you someone who is eating healthy and doing regular exercise for the majority of the time but you are gaining weight and experiencing all kind of health niggles big and small?
