FOODIE FRIDAY - RECIPE OF THE DAY - BREAD

Good morning

When my clients start one of my Kick Start prgrammes we eliminate bread. Why? Gluten can play havoc with most peoples digestive system. Bread has become a staple food for many households. Unfortunately it is the first thing to go when someone decides to lose body fat. Mostly because of the effects wheat has on insulin levels, not to mention the added preservatives and chemicals. I suffered from bloating and one of the reasons was down to bread. I thought I had an intolerance but I had a test and all was okay. I ate bread everyday and when I started Kick Start cut it out for 28 days and realised it was a habit. I thought I had to have it with my soup, salad, I loved my sandwiches, toast etc but I didn't miss it and I now have it as a treat.
