Over the years at Kick Start I have ran lots of different length programmes and although they all get great results my favourites are the longer programmes. The reason WHY is because I love to watch my clients change/grow in their confidence/attitude. I don’t just mean their inch/weight loss I see lots of things. For example their confidence, it’s amazing how many people have low esteem in the way they look and feel. Their energy levels increase. I have ladies come to class who have not exercised before and are now doing two classes a week and feeling full of energy. Mindset is a biggy at Kick Start and when clients first attend they say they can’t do X or Y and once I assure them they can and the changes they make are not going to happen overnight they start to change their way of thinking and their thought process. Now all my clients are different but the groups I have are very encouraging to one another and supportive. Some may stick to the plan 60% others more. I have a lady with health issues but she has lost two stone and her health is improving but it takes time. Some come along and stick to it 100% but I make sure the ladies do what they can/are capable of so they do not feel disheartened/overwhelmed
. Everyone is different so you do what you can. At the start of the programme majority of clients join for weightloss by the end of the programme I love to hear that they realise there is a bigger picture re their health/wellbeing ie sleep, stress, hormones, emotions etc. Carol ditched the scales half way through the programme and went off her dress size and is a size below which is fabulous. I have clients who don’t want to lose weight but want to have a better understanding re their health/nutrition so this programme is for everyone.
