Try drinking 2-3 litres of water per day. For the body to digest
and eliminate, the body requires water. You cannot burn fat without water basically fat requires a molecule of water before it can be dispensed with so if you are not going to drink water you WON’T shed the fat. If you get dehydrated the body cannot flush the kidneys, liver or your colon. That is why people get constipation, IBS etc. It also allows the body to keep hold of the unhealthy toxins that it takes in that remains too long in the body and if it actually hasn’t got
the water to get things moving and get it out the toxins get reabsorbed back into the bloodstream and those chemicals get circulated into every single organ in your body. Water is essential for digesting and expelling everything you take in.
Sleep regulates metabolism. It is an important regulator of metabolism and energy expenditure. When you are sleep deprived hormones that regulate metabolism and increase hunger are
affected, stimulating an increase in consuming calories. The likely result is weight gain. The length of time we sleep is important - but sleep composition the time and percentage of overall sleep spent in each stage is associated with decreased metabolic rate, increased hunger and increased intake of calories specifically from fat and carbs which can in turn lead to weight gain. Maintaining a regular schedule of 8 hours per night can help regulate your bodies
metabolism and decreases the desire to overeat.
Cook from scratch - if you cook from scratch you know what is in your food. Too much sugar means the body has to release more insulin. If there's too much it has to be stored as fat and fat loss cannot occur if insulin is too high. The body then releases cortisol to increase blood sugar again. It's this roller coaster that affects our ability to lose
fat.
