Before I go into it, I just want to remind you that, yes, it is ALARMING and that’s what the Media wants you to do, to be alarmed and REACT.
I personally believe it’s the collective COMBINATION of many things, of how consistent you are, the constant drip drip of your actions DAILY that will poison you or make you healthy.
Now, let’s be reminded of how Coconut is very TRENDY at the moment, everyone is using it, and we have had many recent studies and one BBC Year
long Study in fact proved that no negative health risks involved etc.
Plus certain cultures
being using it for YONKS and no health risks there either.

SCIENCE:
Basically the saturated fat in coconut oil behaves differently in the body to the
fats found in animal meats, and does not cause heart problems! Cholesterol problems are due to a poor lifestyle of no exercise and smoking, or hereditary (AGAIN I REMIND).
Anything in moderation is totally fine - as we already know. I would have concerns about weight gain and long term health as a result of eating too much of ANY fats, including coconut oil … but you’re not eating it by the bucket load, so NO need to worry.

PLUS PLUS Most reports like this "poison headline" have a poor scientific methodology or are only a small part of a large chunk of studies. They get into the media just like any other controversial subjects from time to
time.
My recommendations? "Treat them all with a pinch of pink
salt".
By all means use another type of oil if this article made you
uncomfortable!
Olive oil (for dressing only)
Flaxseed oil. ...
Avocado oil. ...
Walnut
oil. ...
Sesame oil. ...
Grapeseed oil. ...
LARD - another Great natural product!
BUT “healthier” vegetable fats! This is ridiculous! There is so much research to say how unhealthy most cheap mass produced and refined vegetable oils are!!! Have a quick google.
CONCLUSION:
WHATS REALLY POISON?
A sedentary lifestyle, GLUTTONY, modern day stress, lack of sleep, junk food, alcohol abuse etc etc....
Or
a little dab of
