Keep Fit with Paula is returning on Monday 5th October. I have had messages asking if I am still able to teach with Stockport in lockdown. The answer is yes as long as I am following the Government guidelines. When you return to my classes you will be spaced 2
metres for all classes apart from Zumba which is 3 metres.

The App is now available. Please download it and when you arrive at class you will need to scan the QR code with your phone from the App. It’s very easy! I have been in touch with Torkington and Norbury and these will be in place when we return next week.
No smart phone? Don’t worry as I keep a register of attendance from my booking app.

Below is the email I sent last week just as a reminder to those who may have missed it.
We have a, brand new timetable which is subject to change and will be reviewed monthly. Due to the success of online fitness classes this will now become part of my business. This gives you the choice of whether you attend a face to face class, online or both. This
means you will be able to access online workouts 365 days of the year so when the business is closed you can still workout at your convenience and even take me on holiday with you 😉 😉
My commitment to you is to provide a first-class service and I am introducing a monthly membership offering two packages to suit you. As class numbers will be reduced due to Government Guidelines you will need to book your fitness class(es) as you cannot just turn up.
Class bookings
I am using a system called Gymcatch. This can be accessed via the following

3. Book from the Gymcatch website on your laptop, Ipad etc https://app.gymcatch.com/
From your laptop, Ipad or phone go to BOOK, it will then ask you for a Fitness Provider, type in Keep Fit with Paula, click on FOLLOW, click on the date you would like to attend a class, go to DETAILS, then go to BOOK and follow the instructions to book the class.
Please do not panic regarding using the new booking method. If you are unsure, I am available to help/guide you through the process. I can chat to you over the phone, arrange to meet up (social distance) or if you attend with a friend and they are proficient using
technology they can book you onto the class(es) or a family member could do it for you.
You do not have to book online classes via Gymcatch as these are done via Facebook live.
Memberships
Bronze Membership £26 a month – entitles you to one fitness class a week of your choice from the timetable. You can vary your class each week.
Silver Membership £36 a month – unlimited access to all classes face to face and online. Online classes are via a private Facebook group and will be live as per the Keep Fit with Paula timetable. They are recorded so you can enjoy a workout at a time that suits you and there are pre-recorded workouts to choose from as well.
Monthly payments – standing orders
Payment will be made via standing order through your bank and this will be set up via yourself.
Your standing order needs to start the first day you attend class.
Please notify me of your standing order so that I can add you as a member on the Gymcatch booking site. It is important you let me know you are purchasing a membership because all bookings for classes are now via Gymcatch.
10 Class Card Pass
For those who have purchased a 10-class card pass. They can still be used and are valid until 23/12/2020. When completed membership will be required. Please bring your card pass with you to class and your own pen so you can mark your card in the presence of the instructor. You will not be able to participate in the class without the card and booking your place is still
essential.
PARQ
All class participants need to complete and sign a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire. On the PARQ I ask people for their email address as this is my method of communication regarding information relevant to Keep Fit with Paula i.e. class timetable/changes, class cancellations or updates. Newsletter
A newsletter is sent via email twice a week. Monday is information relating to Keep Fit with Paula and Friday is a tip for fitness, health and wellness plus a healthy recipe. Your email address will be entered onto my mailing system and you will receive a link to subscribe and there is one available to unsubscribe at any time. No email addresses are passed on to third party
companies.
Equipment
You will need to bring your own mat and if you want to purchase your own equipment below is what you need for classes as no equipment is available for the time being. The equipment is optional.
Pilates - bender ball, resistance band (long), block and a mini loop band.
Yoga - if you have your own block and/ or yoga strap, bring with you
All other classes - resistance band (long), mini loop band, hand weights.
My advice is to wait until we return to class and I will see what everyone wants as it might be cheaper for me to purchase in bulk rather than individually.
Rules and guidelines
At the Torkington Centre, social distance markers will be placed in the room so you know where to stand. 2 metres for all classes apart from Zumba which is 3 metres.
Attendance sheets will be kept by all instructors for each class for track and trace purposes.
After each session instructors will clean all touch points in the room and toilets.
A 10 minute gap is in place for back to back classes for cleaning.
At the Torkington Centre, there is a one way system in place. You will enter via the main entrance and leave via the fire exit nearest to the car park. This is so there is no crossover for back to back classes. You will leave one row at a time. One person to use the toilet at one time keeping social distancing.
Norbury Church – you will enter via the main door from the carpark and all internal doors will be open and need to be left open. Once the class has finished in the Legh room you will follow the one-way system going through to the Ryan room down the corridor and out of the main door. Disabled toilet only to be used.
No queuing on entry and only arrive 5 minutes before the start of the class.
Please bring your own mat/equipment, if you are using equipment.
Please use the hand sanitiser station on entry and exit.
Please adhere to social distancing rules displayed at the venue.
Please bring water.
Please do not attend if you feel unwell. Anyone displaying signs of Covid-19 will be asked to leave.
Masks must be worn entering and leaving the building and using the toilet.
Keep your belongings to a minimum ie phone, keys, water.
Terms and Conditions
Keep Fit with Paula timetable is subject to change. If a class is low in numbers, it will be removed from the timetable.
Payment will be made via standing order through your bank and this will be set up via yourself. If you decide to cancel the membership you will need to give a month’s notice in writing.
Bronze monthly membership – you are entitled to one weekly class and any class can be attended on the timetable. It does not have to be the same class every week providing a space is available. If you miss a class due to sickness or holiday, you can book on the
following week, as long, as there is a space.
All class bookings are done via Gymcatch and is essential due to reduced numbers and social distancing. You will not be allowed to participate in the class if you have not booked and paid for membership prior to attendance.
Online classes - you do not need to book online classes via gymcatch as they are done via Facebook live.
If you book a class and cannot attend, please cancel through the booking system so someone can have the space. Failure to do so may result in your membership being cancelled.
10 card class pass expires on 23/12/2020. You will not be able to participate in the class without the card and booking your place is required.
Courses/events/workshops – attendance at all classes on the course is expected. Once booked the course is not refundable.
PARQ – all class participants need to complete and sign a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire. You cannot participate in a class until this has been completed. These are stored at my home and only I have access to them. All personal information I collect will be used solely by me and you reserve the right to request a copy of all data I hold about you at any time.
If an instructor needs to cancel a class due to illness or bad weather particularly if it is not safe to travel or the car parks are not safe an email will be sent.
If you cannot attend class(es) due to Covid19 please let me know immediately and I will discuss with you your options regarding your membership.
