Good morning,
WOW we are half way through January, how are you all doing? Did you set any new goals for January ie no alcohol, avoid the chocolate etc? Mine is to stay on track with my wellbeing both physical and mental, hence why I am walking more. With teaching at home it is so easy to stay in all day, ha ha I have plenty to do with my decluttering but I always put a weekly date in the diary to go for a walk with my
friend and this is my downtime. As you know I really enjoy it and post my pics on Facebook and Instagram. Thank you to those who have been in touch with me via email, text etc and it is lovely to hear I have inspired people with my local walks. I can't wait when we can travel further and enjoy different areas. I would love to set up a walking group.
I know people find January a tough one and may be struggling more with the restrictions so here are some healthy tips for you.
1. Plan and prepare your meals, try and cook from scratch. Be organised so you don't reach for that pizza in the freezer.
2. Alcohol reduction - try and reduce your alcohol intake for eg if you drink every night try and alternate or cut out a glass or 2.
3. Water - 2 - 3 litres a day, this can include fruit/herbal teas.
4. Be active everyday - you will feel so much better. Online workout, walk, jog, try getting out in the fresh air.
5. Chill out time for you - do something you enjoy, take time out for YOU, might be read a book, bubble bath, speaking to a friend, do something that makes you feel good.
Enjoy your weekend.
