Good afternoon,
Have you had a good week? Just the usual for me, teaching classes and a walk with a friend. Yesterday I
was teaching a class and the doorbell rang and I thought I am going to have to ignore it due to teaching. I then remembered that the guy who was doing my patio was coming round and he wouldn't be able to get in as I had opened the bottom half of my gate but not the top. Needless to say I had to stop the class, apologise to my clients, let the guy in and resumed my class. 12 months ago I would have been mortified doing that but yesterday I saw the funny side and hopefully my clients did as
well. 😀
Do you pay attention when you eat?
If you are multi-tasking whilst eating means you don’t give your food the full attention it deserves, which not only means it may not emotionally satisfy you, but also means you’ll end up eating it faster. Instead, eat slowly and mindfully. It takes around 20 minutes for fullness signals to transmit from your stomach to
the brain, so if you eat too fast, you’ll eat far more than you need. Not only that, but if you have a family, eating together at the table is a great way to bond, and young children will pick up healthy eating habits this way, too. Win-win!
Another tip.....switch off your TV and put away your phone when you have a meal.😀 😀 😀 😀
Have a great weekend.
Love Paula xx
